Popeye's Peach Pie & Nai Nai's Homemade Ice cream

My paternal grandfather, is affectionately called Popeye has a huge sweet tooth but particularly in love with peach pie always paired with Nai Nai's Homemade vanilla Ice cream. The Peach Pie, is has a light and fluffy crust. I normally warm up me slice of pie and eat the guts of the pie, and ignore the crust. It is a crime to not eat peach pie with vanilla ice cream. Nai Nai's homemade vanilla ice cream light and creamy.

This dessert is a family favorite. Often times we grab either a slice of pie or ice cream or both. When the whole family is together, we are normally eating the dessert after a mid afternoon nap or while we are playing card games. When we are playing card games, we are normally playing King's in the Corner, Triopoly, Progressive, and Seven's.
